The Swann Recruitment Allstars won The Plate at the Battens Beach Volleyball 2010 competition last night – an annual charity tournament this year supporting The Women’s Refuge and Dorset Wildlife Trust. An enjoyable evening saw the overall competition won by New Look Head Office, although Swann came out on top in the knockout competition for teams finishing in second place or lower in the group stages.

The Allstars, featuring members of the Swann team as well as two candidates – Joe Chandler and Nathan Crane, were pleased with their performance despite having never played together before. Team captain Ryan Park commented ‘Victory is sweet, but after underestimating the need to warm up, it hurts today, it really hurts...’
